Hotel & Resort Vocabulary 3

Vocabulary for hotel and resort employees — the language of exceptional guest experiences.

Vocabulary in context

In a large resort, guests move between multiple environments — the spa, the pool, the restaurants, the concierge desk, the activities centre — and they expect every staff member in every area to be equally fluent and equally helpful. That's a high bar. This exercise builds the broader resort vocabulary that lets you move confidently between those different service contexts: describing treatments at the spa, recommending excursions at the activities desk, explaining dress codes at the restaurant, giving directions to facilities across a large property. The goal is to sound knowledgeable and welcoming wherever a guest encounters you — not just in your primary role.
