Care Conversations 2 — Meals & Medication AE

Mealtime and medication round conversations — the language of offering food choices, managing dietary needs, and administering medication safely.

Communication at mealtimes and medication rounds

Mealtimes and medication rounds are two of the most routine but clinically important parts of the care day. A resident who doesn't eat, or who refuses medication, needs a skilled conversational response — not a confrontation. This exercise practises the language of these interactions, from the dining table to the medication trolley.
