Healthcare English — Dental Conversations 2 AE

Conversations with dental patients — explaining procedures, managing dental anxiety, and providing aftercare instructions.

Patient communication in dentistry

Dental anxiety is extremely common, and the words dental staff use have a huge impact on how patients experience treatment. Clear, calm explanations, honest answers to questions, and warm post-procedure communication all help reduce anxiety and build trust. This exercise practises the key conversations that happen in and around the dental chair.
