Camp Staff Verbs 2

More camp-related verbs for counselors and summer camp workers — English for activities and supervision.

Vocabulary in context

The second set of camp-related verbs covers the full spectrum of counselor activity — from the physical and logistical to the emotional and administrative. Accompany, restrain, document, notify, supervise — these verbs appear in the situations that matter most: when a camper is hurt, when an incident needs to be recorded, when a parent needs to be contacted. But they also appear in the everyday moments: organising an activity, leading a group, writing the daily notes that the camp director reads each morning. Both sides of camp communication depend on a strong verb vocabulary, and this exercise builds it.
