Flight Attendant Conversations 1

Conversation practice for flight attendants — common questions from passengers and how to answer them.

Vocabulary in context

Passenger questions on a flight range from the completely routine to the genuinely unexpected, and cabin crew have to be ready for all of them without missing a beat. Can I change seats? Easy. What's in this meal — I have a severe nut allergy? That one needs a very precise answer. The person next to me is making me uncomfortable — now you need to be diplomatic, discreet, and effective simultaneously. This exercise practises the Q&A format that plays out constantly in real flights, with a passenger asking and you answering clearly, professionally, and without a script. The more naturally this vocabulary comes, the less any of it — even the tricky questions — catches you off guard.
